4 weeks

I got this idea from pininterest (my new favorite obsession) and thought I would give it a try. I will take a photo each month of Sean in this basket. Amazing how fast a month can go!

Great Grandma Tschupp

My dad brought my grandma out to visit us. It was the first time that dad got a chance to see Sean since he was born. We had a really fun weekend!

Update

So Nora is doing fine at school-she loves it! Her teacher is Mrs. White and Nora thinks she is the greatest-as all kindergarten children should feel about their teacher. Nora enjoys the bus, doing milage club at school, and is making all sorts of friends. The only downside of school for our family is how tired Nora is in the evenings. School takes out all her energy and by the time she gets home she just wants to be alone. Hopefully this will just take some adjustment and earlier bedtime!
Molly, Sean and I are also adjusting to big sis being gone all day. Molly started kindermusic, dance and Mrs. Lori's. We will start MOPS in a few weeks, and I am looking forward to that.

Three weeks old

first day of school

I knew the day would come and I was prepared, as well as I could be being three weeks post-partum, Nora started Kindergarten. I know that some people may not think it is a big deal but it was rather hard for me. I have spent the past five years at home raising my daughter and having her with me. Now suddenly she leaves each day at 8 am and doesn't get home until after 3, and I miss her! Here are some pictures of the first day and I will update soon with how it is going-for Nora of course!!

Go Hawks!

Someone mowed out "Go Hawks" in the field near our house. Brian was super excited to think about football season!

Martinson Visit

Nora and her best friend Lizzie!

The Martinson family came to visit us the first week of July (pre Sean) and spent several days with us. They were traveling the midwest doing some family time and going to conference in Colorado. We convinced them to stop on the way back to Florida to see the baby. They called and said they would be coming for about an hour we talked them into staying overnight. We had such a fun time and we love hanging out with their family. Hopefully this winter we can head down to Miami and visit them!

Ready for church

This is a photo of the first time we took sean to church. Getting three kids ready and out the door for church is much harder than I had anticipated!

Raggbri

Raggbri came through Coralville this year. They stopped in Coralville the day I got home from the hospital. Brian, my mom, and the girls went down to see them come in. Here are some photos they took-it looked pretty cool. My dream is to one day do part of the ride, hopefully in the next few years!

Home

Sean was born on a Tuesday and we brought him home on Thursday afternoon. My mom stayed through the next week and was a huge help. The girls love their brother and did a great job of welcoming him into the house.
Some of our first visitors, Alex was the very first to see him at the hopsital.

Sleeping with his sisters, love this photo.
