Halloween 2010

We had a really fun Halloween. Angie had the idea that we should have a Miller Halloween party and the theme should be dress as your favorite Miller. We did the party at our house so the girls and Will and Aiden could go trick or treating.
Molly, Nora and Grace before they left to trick or treat.
Can you guess? Katie as grandma, Angie as Paul , Brian as mark, Me as Katie, Paulette as Jim, and Marv as Mark. Megg and Alex came later and Alex had a good impression of Paul.

Nora LOVED getting to be a princess for the night!

My little pumpkin

I am really bad about Halloween costumes, and having to many! I find them cheap at yard sales in the summer or friends give them to me, either way the girls always have a few to choose from:) this year there was just the pumpkin suit, tigger, and princesses.
Nora with the pumpkin suit and then Molly! What cute little girls!!

Woodpecker Trail Field Trip

Nora's preschool class went to Woodpecker Trail on a field trip. Deb got to go along with the class, at Nora's request. Here are some pictures that Deb sent to me.

Indiana

We took a long weekend and drove out to visit my parents in Goshen. My mom and dad watched the girls so that Brian and I could go to a ND football game on Saturday (Iowa had a bi week!). It was the first time that either of us had been to the stadium. The weather was perfect for the game and right before the game there was a flyover.

The girls love going to my parents because they can take care of the chickens. Molly likes to help her papa gather eggs and feed them. The weather was great all weekend and we enjoyed spending time with my family.

Checking on the chickens:)
On the ND campus before the game, I could not get Brian to wear a ND shirt.

Homecoming 2010

The homecoming game this year was against Penn State. Megg and Alex got tickets to the game from Jim and Deb for their wedding. The game was a night game and it was so much fun, probably due to the fact that the Hawks WON (24-3)! The stadium looked neat because they had every other section wear a black or gold. Going to a game like that makes me love the fall!
A view from out seats of the black and gold stadium.

Homecoming Parade

We met several families from Nora's preschool downtown to watch the homecoming parade. It was fun to see the kids get so excited about the floats. The weather was wonderful and it is always fun to cheer on the Hawkeyes!

I think that she saw Herkey!
