apple orchard
We took the girls out to Wilson's Apple Orchard one evening to gather some apples. Nora had such a great time running around looking for apples. We got 16 lbs of apples so that I can make some applesauce this weekend. I am going to attempt to make some turnovers...we will see how that goes. Molly really enjoyed eating all the apples, I don't think Nora ate a single one!
Move it! Dig it! Build it!
The Children's Museum hosted a event called, "Move it, Dig it, Build it" at the fairgrounds. Brian and I won tickets by being able to name the turtle at the Children's Museum..I know we are pretty cool! The girls had a great time playing on all the big equipment. Nora loved being able to buckle and unbuckle the seat belts. Molly just liked running around. It was a good event and the weather was wonderful!
Winter gear
Nora loves to put on her winter gear and run around the house. The other day she put her winter gear on Molly..who now likes to wear it around the house. The weather here has been unusually warm for September so it is funny that the girls are wearing shorts t-shirts and winter hats. In the middle of the winter they will want to wear their swimsuits!

First day of school!
Nora's first day of preschool-Sept. 09
Nora had a great day of school. She seemed to really like her
teacher Mrs. Fink and was not scared to stay at all. Mom was
more nervous than her!
In thinking about her first day of school I pulled up this photo
from her first day of playschool at Christy's last year. This was taken
in September of 08. It is fun to compare the two photos.

Going shopping
So grownup!
We went to visit Parkview Preschool on Thursday evening for a ice cream social and meet her teacher. They told us to bring a picture to hang in the classroom. After I took this picture I was surprised how grownup Nora looked. It is hard to imagine that she is going to be in preschool next week. God had definitely blessed us with such wonderful children!
