Molly and Nora

We have had about a week to transition from a thee person family to four. Molly is doing pretty good-we found out that she is allergic to the milk proteins in her formula and is now doing much better on the new formula. Nora is enjoying being a big sister. Although she did ask the other day if we could return Molly to the library. I had to explain that Molly is not like our books.

Molly is Here!

Molly Elizabeth Miller arrived on July 6th at 3:15 am. She was 6lbs 10 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She had tons of dark hair! She was a born a day after Kari's 29th birthday. Kari and Molly are doing good. She was welcomed by her big sister Nora. Grandma Yoder came to visit from Indiana to help out with the girls. We will be heading home on Tuesday.

Flood of 08

This year in Iowa has sure been eventful for us. During the first week of June we got LOTS of rain and on top of that our rivers were already full from all the precipitation we received over the winter. Thus the flooding began. We were fortunate to not have any effects from the flooding (we didn't have internet or phone for a week). It was so weird to watch places that you have been on t.v. under so much water. It doesn't seem real. We have been praying for all those who have been effected by the water.

Beach Time!!

The first week of June we rented a beach house in the Outerbanks with some friends from Virginia. We had the Shank family, the Yoder family and the Trissels. We had a blast! The kids loved playing together and the adults had fun just hanging out. Sarah, Melinda and I are all pregnant due in July, August and September. We spent a lot of time at the beach or at the pool. One evening Nora got to go on a go cart with Brian. We hope to go on vacation with these friends again!
