Time moves so fast with three little ones!

Almost crawling

Sean wants to crawl but just can't figure out how to get his belly on the floor. So instead of crawling he likes to roll all over. I am sure that it won't be long before he is crawling all over and the girls should watch out!

Really Jan??

I am not complaining but we are having the warmest Iowa winter. I am loving the fact that I don't have to bundle up my little guy all the time, and deal with jackets. I am also enjoying sending the kids outside to play in the afternoons.

This picture above was taken Jan 10 and it is 52 degrees outside. The girls did chalk in the driveway because it was so warm. LOVE IT! I am sure we are going to be paying for it during the month of Feb.!

Baby Shower

In the middle of my chaotic life I hosted a baby shower for our dear friends Nick and Courtney Ropp. They live in Virginia but were home over Christmas so I did a shower for Courtney with her family that lives here in Iowa. We had a fun time and she got some great gifts. It was the only time that we got to see them but hopefully we will see them (and baby) in June when we head out to Virginia.

Miller Christmas

The Miller's always take turns hosting Christmas and this year it was Larry and Carolyn's turn. Nice for us because we only had to drive down to Williamsburg. They had Christmas the day after and it worked out that almost everyone but two families made it. Actually another family got sick so make that three!

This year instead of gifts we drew names and everyone gave books. It was fun to see what kind of books everyone got. During our gift exchange we got a surprise visit from santa! Nora was still so amazed from him coming you our house that she was then really confused. She said to me later, "mom the santa that came to Carolyn's must of been the mall santa, I don't think he was the true santa." Now I have totally messed her up!!!
