Soccer Time!

We thought it would be fun for Nora to be in tiny tot soccer, and Brian volunteered to be the coach. After the first game Brian and I agree that three is too young for soccer! The six games of the season were a learning experience for all. Here are some of the things we learned:
Nora is much more interested in jumping off bleachers than in playing soccer
Organized sports are for older children
Watching your three year old run around the soccer makes you smile.
That you have to stop playing when your entire team is on the sidelines crying with their mom's holding them.
Brian has A LOT of patience.

Marshmallow Cuties!

We had a campfire and the girls loved eating the marshmallows. Molly was a sticky mess by the time we went inside. She had grass and dirt stuck over her entire body!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt with all the kids. They did a story, a three legged race and then the Easter egg hunt. Nora had a great time playing with the other kids and looking for eggs. She also liked wearing her bunny ears!

New tent

Brian's aunt got the girls a Dora tent. Nora loves putting
Molly inside and Molly loves trying to get out. It is pretty
funny to watch them.

Peter Island

Brian was part of the COE (Circle of Excellence) trip that his work had and we got to go to Peter Island (in the British Virgin Islands). It was AMAZING! I don't think that you can describe how beautiful it was. I spent most of my time sitting on the beach reading my books. Brian tried wind surfing and got pretty good at it. We took a trip to the other side of the island and saw the sunset one night. Brian also tried snorkeling (again I sat on the beach and read my books). I got the most amazing massage down on the beach. We got to spend a lot of time with Nick and Courtney so that was also a bonus of the trip. Brian worked hard to earn the trip and it was well deserved!! What a great vacation.

Happy Easter

For Easter we went to Kalona to Brian's families church (East Union). We went to Grace Saturday evening to hear the Easter service. Then on Sunday we went to Kalona to East Union. We then we out to lunch with Jim and Deb at the Elks. The girls had a good day and looked cute in their Easter outfits.
