The last weekend in March my mom, Aunt Bev, Aunt Lena, Cousin Marlene (Lena's daughter) and Meg (Marlene's daughter) all game for the weekend to stay with us. Brian was a little overwhelmed with all the girls! They all came on Friday and that evening we took the little girls to ride the carousal at the mall (it was Friday free night), came home and ate, put the girls to bed and went in the hot tub. We had such a fun evening talking and relaxing. Then on Saturday we went to Kalona and ate at the Tuscan Moon. We hung out Saturday night, but it snowed, so no hot tub. Then they all went home on Sunday. I started to feel sick Saturday evening and by the time everyone left I was wiped out. I slept all day Sunday and then part of Monday. I had a really good weekend with all the girls and hope that we can do it again!! Nora loved playing with Meg and still talks about when we can see her again.

Melanie's wedding
My best friend from Virginia is getting married
on June 13th. For her wedding gift I said I would
make her invitations. It actually has been pretty
simple. I have enjoyed doing them and
helps me feel connected since
I am so far away.
I am almost done with them and I think
they look pretty good. Here is a sneak peak
at what the cover will look like.

Nora's Birthday
Nora's 3rd Birthday timeline

March 22-Joint party at the Millers with Danny (he turned 18). Nora helped make the cake-Dora of course.
March 23rd-We made cupcakes for a her playschool.
March 25th-The Big Day!

We celebrated that morning with our own
gifts and cards to Nora.
Then we took cupcakes to her gymnastics group.
For lunch we went to her favorite place..Pizza Ranch and had
a party with her friend Peyton. She turned three on the 28th.
We invited some friends from playgroup and MOPS.

That evening we went to Grandma and Grandpa Millers and had
another little party. She got a new soccer goal-her dad wants to teach
her to play soccer:)

We had a really fun, but full, week of cupcakes, cake and presents. It was great to see Nora enjoy her birthday with family and friends.

Molly's first haircut

I told Brian that I thought we should cut Molly's
bangs but he said "no". I think she looks fine.
Then she got a cold and woke up one morning with
her hair stuck to her nose. Brian came in and said,
"I think that we should cut Molly's bangs". So of
course I had to do it and it didn't look that great.
It will grow, right? At least now she doesn't have her
hair hanging in her cute face.
