First Hawkeye Game
Over Labor Day weekend Rachel, Tex and Josiah Esenhour came to our house to visit. On Saturday Rachel and I took the kids down the stadium to tailgate with everyone and then went home while Tex and Brian went to the game. Nora had a great time seeing the band. Herkey surpised her with a huge hug...she said, "His beak knocked in my head". We all had a good time and the Hawkeyes had a win.

Sold
This past week Brian, Molly and Kari traveled to Harrisonburg to do the closing on our house. We sold the house almost one year of putting it on the market. It is good to have the house sold, and hard to have that chapter in our lives close. While in VA we stayed with Melanie and Brice a few nights and Josh and Sarah the others. Below are some pictures of Micah holding Molly. We had a great time visiting with friends. The other picture is Aaron and Melinda Yoder's new baby boy Emmet with Molly.

Go Hawks!
On Saturday Brian took Nora to the Iowa football spring practice. She got to see Herkey and give him a high five. (That is a big thing for a two year old!) Then the cheerleader let her hold her pom poms. Brian had a good time taking Nora to the game, even if the Hawks didn't seem to be looking great.

Iowa State Fair
Jim, Deb and Jeff took Molly, Nora and I with them to the state fair on Tuesday. We took the vacation van so we would all have room. We had a great time looking at all the animals, the butter cow, going to Bob the Builder and eating great fair food. We even saw a 1,300 pound pig..that would only happen in Iowa!
Nora had a blast riding the ponies, and the camel. I took her once on the camel (that cost $5) and afterwards she said, "One more time would be fine." I told her no, and she said, "Grandma can take me." Sure enough...she rode again. Here is Grandma with Nora on the camel.Nora had fun doing the little helpers on the farm. She went through the whole farm doing lots of various activities.
The excitement for the day was on the trip home when both Molly and Nora got sick and threw up in the van. Too much fair food is not good! Deb said we should go again next year. I don't know if she is serious after the trip home.
