Goodbye to our fish
Last March Megg and Alex gave Nora a fish as a birthday present. She got to go with them to Petco and pick it out so it was super fun for her. It was our first pet as a family and a fish is a good pet to have. For some reason our kids did not want to name the fish so we just called it "fish". The other day I was cleaning out the bowl and I didn't let the water get to room temperature before I poured the fish back in the clean bowl and he went belly up. We said a sad goodbye to the fish and flushed him. Here is the last picture of the "fish".

Loving the rain
Sean loves to be outside and I got some cute shots of him running around in the rain. It might be a long winter to try and keep him inside!

Genoa Bluffs Pumpkin Farm
Rachel Hinderaker has a friend who owns a pumpkin farm called Genoa Bluffs and invited us to come with the Romero family and them on Sunday. We had such a great time! The weather was windy but there was so much to do the kids had a blast. They had a hayride, horse ride, games, and a corn maze. Sean was the only boy, but someday he will appreciate it!

Homecoming Parade
One of my favorite events in Iowa City is the homecoming parade. I think that I like it so much becuase we always go and sit with our friends and our kids just have the best time. I also really like the fall weather so watching a parade in the fall is perfect for me!

Cow Girls
The other day I had sent Molly out to play with our next door neighbor Grace. Pretty soon I heard them coming in the house and got a huge smile. Here is the photo of the two cow girls that came to visit.

Into everything!
Sean's new favorite thing is to open up all the cabinets and pull out the contents. #1 on Brian's to do list this weekend is to child proof then cabinets. Until then Sean will enjoy playing and I will tread carefully around all the dishes on the kitchen floor.
